Roofing Services Finestrat
Villas built to catch the view also catch the weather. We check the exposed parts of Finestrat roofs, such as ridges, hips, edges and terrace upstands, and fix the details that wind and sun work loose first.
Houses on the slopes beneath Puig Campana tend to be open to the air. That is lovely on a terrace in the evening, but it means the roof has little shelter from wind, and a ridge or an edge tile that is not firmly bedded can move.
We often start by looking at exactly those places. Ridge and hip tiles are held by mortar that cracks as it ages, and once it fails, a gust can lift a tile and start a leak.
Many Finestrat villas also feature flat roof sections, large terraces and parapets arranged around the views. These junctions between pitched and flat areas are where water most often finds a way in. A careful look at each of these joins is the heart of our survey here.
