Roofing Services Benissa
A finca roof is a different animal from a modern villa roof. We repair Benissa's older stone houses and fincas with attention to their beams, their weight and their tiles, and treat newer roofs just as carefully.
Benissa's country houses were built when roofs were put together from local timber, hand-fitted tiles and thick stone walls. These roofs are heavy, slightly irregular and often beautiful, which is exactly why they need care.
The most common problems are a slow leak that has been quietly rotting a beam, tiles that have slipped on a pitch that is no longer true, and later additions that sit awkwardly against the original.
Along the coast, villas of more recent construction have the usual tiled roofs, and we handle those too. The difference is in how much of the work is detective work. A good survey of an old house reads more like a diagnosis than a price list.
