Benissa has more variety than most towns nearby: an old town of traditional houses, countryside dotted with fincas and a stretch of coast with villas. A finca on a rural plot and a villa near the sea have little in common electrically, though both fall under the same name.
Fincas in particular tend to be older, extended over time and spread across the plot. A main house, guest accommodation, a barn or store, perhaps a pool and a pump can all hang off one ageing supply.

Fincas
Wiring in a finca often grew in a sequence of improvisations: a line to the barn, an extra circuit for the pool, another for a new bathroom. Over time it becomes hard to know what feeds what.
A survey tells us what is there. From that we can recommend a clean-up, a new board and sensible separation of circuits, or a fuller rewire if the condition calls for it.
We aim to leave behind an installation that is documented and labelled, so any electrician who follows can understand it at once.
Spread-out plots
When buildings are scattered over a plot, cable runs lengthen and need correct sizing and protection. Underground routes should be properly protected and recorded, so they are not damaged later.
Pumps, whether for a pool, irrigation or water supply, are important loads. We make sure they are on suitable circuits with appropriate protection.
Guest accommodation, stores and workshops can each have their own supply or sub-board, which is neater and easier to isolate for maintenance.
Sun and independence
Rural homes tend to feel supply interruptions more, and many owners are curious about generating some of their own power. Roof space and plenty of sun make solar worth considering.
Whether it is right depends on use, roof orientation and how often the house is occupied. We discuss it frankly and avoid proposing more than the property needs.
In the old town and on the coast, the questions are different. Town houses are mostly about careful rewiring, while coastal villas are about outdoor lighting, terraces and cooling.

We start by walking the property with you, because on a finca the plot is as important as the house. We trace what feeds what and note anything unsafe or unclear.
We then write up a free quotation. After approval we work in a logical order, test each circuit and leave the installation labelled.
