Electrical work for hillside homes in Finestrat, where sloping plots, open views and long absences shape how the installation should be designed.
Finestrat has Puig Campana rising behind it and a short drop towards the sea at Cala de Finestrat. Much of the housing is villa-style, built on slopes, with terraces and glass to take advantage of the view.
Those same features create electrical questions. Sloping ground makes cable routes longer and trickier, large windows and terraces call for careful lighting, and many owners spend only part of the year here, so the system has to look after itself.

Lighting for a view
A hillside terrace is at its best at dusk, and harsh or badly placed light spoils it. Low-level fittings along steps, soft lighting over seating areas and controls you can dim make a real difference.
Slopes also mean steps and level changes that need to be lit safely. We plan fittings to guide the way rather than flood the area, and place cable runs where they will not be disturbed by later landscaping.
Inside, large glazed areas reflect light at night, so we think about positioning and switching with that in mind. The result looks calmer and is easier to use.
Leaving a house empty
When a house is empty for weeks, you want to know it is in good order. Remote control of lighting, cooling and simple monitoring lets you check in and prepare the house before you arrive.
The wiring behind such systems is what makes them reliable, so we plan it from the start and keep the design simple. A system that works every time is better than a clever one that needs resetting.
Security lighting and power for cameras complete the picture. We site fittings to cover approaches and entrances and make sure the supply is dependable.
Supply and charging
Villas built over several levels sometimes have more than one board, or one board far from where the load is. Tidying this into a logical layout with labelled circuits makes the installation safer and simpler to maintain.
An EV charger fits well where there is a driveway or garage. The cable run from the board and the charger position need thought on a slope, and we plan these before quoting.
Pool equipment, garden power and any outbuilding supply are best handled in the same plan, so everything draws from a board that can cope.
