La Nucía sits a little inland and uphill, and much of its housing is villas on sizeable plots within urbanisations. Many are lived in all year round, which changes the electrical picture compared with a holiday apartment: the installation works hard, every day.
A villa on its own plot has more to power. Pool pumps, outdoor lighting, gates, garden sockets, a garage or outbuilding and often several air conditioning units all share one supply. Distances are longer, so cable sizing and routing deserve proper thought.

Capacity
Villas often accumulate loads gradually. A pool goes in, a second air conditioning unit follows, then a workshop or guest annexe. Each addition seems small, but together they can push an old board past what it was meant to handle.
If the lights dim when the pool pump starts, or protection trips when several units run, the installation is telling you something. A new board with separated circuits often brings order to the whole house.
We look at the whole picture before recommending anything, and we include room for future additions so you are not rewiring the board again in two years.
Charging and solar
Having a garage or driveway makes an EV charger an easy addition in most La Nucía villas. The main questions are the cable run from the board, whether the supply can carry the extra load, and where the charger will be sheltered from sun and rain.
Solar is a more considered decision. For someone living here full time and running cooling through summer, it is worth a serious look. We discuss how much you use, when you use it and how your roof sits, and we say plainly when the case is weak.
Where it does make sense, planning the board, the charger and any solar equipment together avoids having to redo work later.
Outdoors and security
Larger plots call for outdoor supplies that are properly buried or protected. We install external sockets, garden lighting and power for gates or outbuildings with cable routes that are safe and sealed against weather.
Security is a common request. Lighting that responds to movement, power for cameras covering the approach and sensible circuit protection all fall within our electrical work.
We keep layouts straightforward, with clear labelling at the board, so the installation is easy to maintain or extend.
How it works
A site visit comes first, taking in the board, the layout of the plot and where the new work will go. Longer cable runs and outbuildings are measured and discussed at this stage.
