La Nucía is better known for hillside villas and urbanisations, but there are also apartments in residential complexes, often with communal grounds. Because the town is inland and residential, many of these flats are lived in all year.
That changes what a reform is for. A flat that is someone’s permanent home needs good storage, a kitchen that works every day, comfortable heating and cooling and finishes that suit family life.

Everyday kitchens
In a permanent home the kitchen is used daily, so storage, worktop space, extraction and appliance positions matter more than they would in a holiday flat. We plan the room around how the household cooks.
Many complex apartments have a closed kitchen next to the living room. Where the wall allows it, opening the two creates a brighter, more social space, with the plumbing and electrics adapted at the same time.
Hard-wearing surfaces and good joinery repay their cost in a room that gets this much use.
Comfort
Away from the coast the temperature swings are wider, with hot summers and cooler winter evenings. Air conditioning that heats as well as cools can serve a flat through the whole year, and we plan the routes and unit positions in advance.
New windows and sliding doors improve comfort and cut noise. Choosing the right glazing for a sunny, hillside exposure makes a noticeable difference.
We supply leading brands for air conditioning and size the system to the rooms, not to a rule of thumb.
Complexes
Flats in complexes share grounds, pools, stairwells and sometimes lifts. We protect these areas, bring materials in at agreed times and keep the site tidy.
Each community has its own statutes and hours for building work. We plan around them and suggest speaking to the administrator before starting, especially for terrace glazing or outdoor air-conditioning units.
If you are abroad for part of the year, we can manage the reform and send progress photos so the flat is ready when you return.
