La Nucía sits on the inland hillside, and much of it is villas and urbanisation homes with generous plots, terraces and big rendered walls. That is a lot of surface to keep in good order.
A typical villa here has a main facade, side walls, a terrace with walls and steps, and a boundary wall facing the street. Together that is a considerable area of render and paint, all exposed to the sun and to temperature swings.
Because many homes are relatively modern, the issues are often different from those in an old village: hairline cracking where blocks meet, thin or uneven plaster inside, and paint that has faded or been rushed at handover.
We take on whole-house work as well as individual elements, and we can plan the job so the main living areas are never all out of action at once.
Big facades
Large facades show weathering clearly. A hairline crack can run across a whole wall, and patchy fading is obvious from the road. Our approach is to survey the whole elevation, repair every defect, and then coat the wall as one so that the colour is consistent.
Access is part of the work. Higher walls need scaffolding or platforms to be done safely and evenly, and we allow for this in the quotation rather than treating it as an afterthought.
Walls that surround the plot are often painted less carefully than the house, yet they set the first impression. We are happy to bring them into the same scheme.
Inside modern villas
Inside, walls in newer villas can be uneven from the original build, or marked by years of use and sun through large windows. A skim coat transforms the surface and gives paint something to hold to.
We also look after ceilings, including high ones above staircases and open-plan living spaces. Working at height needs the right equipment, and we plan for it so the finish is even from top to bottom.
If you are considering changes such as removing a wall or adding a partition, plasterboard and plastering can be done as part of the same programme.
After building work
Extensions, new terraces, outdoor kitchens and pool surrounds all produce raw walls that need rendering and painting. Matching new render to old is a skill in itself, since texture and colour need to blend rather than stand out.
We can coordinate the plastering and painting with other trades on the job, so walls are finished once and not damaged afterwards. As a renovation firm, we are used to sequencing the work.
Where a building has been left unfinished or partly finished, we can assess what is needed and complete it to a consistent standard.

A visit lets us measure the walls, check access and see the condition of the surfaces. We then provide a written quotation that separates repairs, rendering and painting so you can see what each part involves. The quotation is free.
We schedule the work around weather for outdoor sections and your plans for indoors, and the finished job is guaranteed, with the scope set out in the quotation.

We aim to match texture and colour as closely as we can, and then paint the whole elevation so any small differences disappear.
