Extensions & New Builds Benidorm
Space is the scarcest thing in a high-rise city. In Benidorm, adding it usually means working with a community of owners, a shared structure and a town hall, so the first job is finding out what is genuinely possible.
Benidorm is overwhelmingly a place of apartments, and an apartment is not a house you can simply build onto. Walls, slabs and facades belong partly to the block, which means a proposal to add floor area has to be tested against the building before a design is drawn.
That does not make it hopeless. Closing in a terrace, joining a flat to its neighbour, using a roof terrace or putting a lightweight room on a top floor can all be possible, depending on the block, the community and the town hall's view of how the exterior will change.
Away from the towers, the edges of the city have older houses and villas where a conventional extension or even a new house on a plot is realistic. We assess which of these situations you are in at survey, and tell you plainly where the limits lie.
