Benidorm is a town of apartment blocks, and air conditioning here is shaped by balconies, communities and homes that are often occupied in short bursts. We install, service and repair systems to suit.
Most homes in Benidorm are apartments, from older flats in the streets around the old town to tall blocks facing the sea. That changes the job. There is rarely a garden or a roof to hide an outdoor unit, so the balcony, terrace or technical area is where it goes, and the building’s rules often decide what is possible.
Many apartments are also used as holiday homes or lets. They may be shut for weeks, then occupied by people who want the place cool the moment they walk in. A system that has been idle needs to be checked, and one that is used by changing guests needs to be simple to operate.

Balconies and communities
Before we plan an installation in a block, we ask where the outdoor unit can go. Some communities have designated places, others expect a particular look from the street, and some have rules about drainage and noise. Please check what the community and the owners are happy with first, so we can plan the pipework and the position around it.
Pipe runs in a flat are usually short but can be awkward. Concrete walls, shared façades and balconies that must stay tidy all affect how we route the connections. We try to keep the indoor unit where it cools the room well and the outdoor unit where it is out of sight and out of the way.
Condensate has to go somewhere, and in a building with neighbours below that matters more than it does in a villa. We plan the drain so that water does not drip onto the balcony beneath.
Height, wind and salt
Higher floors face stronger winds and a good deal of direct sun, and blocks near the seafront are exposed to salt in the air. An outdoor unit in that setting needs sound fixings and a position where air can move freely around it. Units boxed in by a tight enclosure struggle to shed heat and work harder as a result.
Salt works on brackets, fixings and coils over time. Regular servicing is the main protection, and we pay attention to signs of corrosion when we visit.
If you are replacing an existing unit, the old bracket or route may not be worth keeping. We look at both before deciding what to reuse.
Short stays and long gaps
A unit that has stood unused through the winter can have dusty filters, a dry drain and a few surprises waiting. A check before the season starts is cheaper and less stressful than discovering a fault on the day guests arrive.
For apartments let to visitors, simple controls help. A wifi unit allows you or a manager to switch the system on before arrival, and to see that it has been turned off after departure. Whether that suits your property depends on the internet connection, which we can check with you.
We can agree a regular service for one apartment or several in the same block, and tell you honestly when a tired unit is better replaced than repaired again.
How it works
We start with the apartment itself: the rooms to be cooled, the floor, the orientation and the position of the balcony. If you are overseas, photographs and a short description can start the conversation, and we arrange a visit when it suits you. The quotation sets out the units, the work and the price, and it is free.
Once it is agreed, we fix dates around access to the building and the community’s expectations, carry out the installation and commission the system. We show you how to use it, tidy up and leave the apartment ready. The work is guaranteed, with the scope set out in the quotation.
Questions
Usually yes, but the outdoor unit has to go somewhere the community allows. Check the community and owner permissions before work begins and we will plan around them.
Yes. We can service units before the season and agree a regular visit for one or several apartments. Faults can be diagnosed and repaired as they arise.
It should not. We plan the drain on every installation so that water is carried away properly rather than dripping on balconies below.
Often it can. A multi-split connects several indoor units to one outdoor unit, which also saves balcony space. We advise after seeing the layout.
