Alfaz del Pi and Albir mix villas on the hills with apartments near the seafront, so the same trade has to adapt to quite different rooms.
A villa kitchen in the hills above Albir may be large, with room for storage walls and a breakfast bar. An apartment closer to the seafront may be a narrow room fitted along one wall. Both need a plan drawn from the room itself, not from a catalogue layout.
Many properties here have been owned for years and updated in stages. The kitchen is often the last room to be dealt with, and by then the electrics, tiling and plaster around it show their age.

In an apartment the opposite is true. Every wall has to earn its keep, and the extractor, fridge and oven are fitted into tall units so the worktop stays free.
Taupe, grey and soft white fronts remain popular in both, with a stainless chimney extractor as the visible focal point.
Opening the room
A growing number of owners want the kitchen to share space with the living room, with a bar between them. In an apartment that can transform a flat that feels shut in.
We confirm what the wall is before quoting for its removal, and we allow for rerouting any cables or pipes inside it. The floor, ceiling and paint are then made good as one.
If the apartment has balcony doors beyond the living area, the light carries right through, which is often the best argument for doing it.
One programme
Because both rooms need plumbing, tiling and electrics, doing them in one visit from the team is more efficient than treating them as separate jobs.
You deal with one contact, receive one programme and can see how the two rooms fit together in finish and tone.
If you only want the kitchen, that is fine; we simply keep the option open.

A first visit lets us measure the kitchen, look at the walls and services and hear what you want. We prepare a plan and a written quotation, which costs nothing, and arrange supplier visits so you can see the materials.
Work follows a single programme under one project manager, with English and Spanish both spoken. If you are overseas you receive photographs and calls, and the work is guaranteed within the scope set out in your quotation.

Yes. Apartment kitchens are a regular part of our work in Albir, and we plan deliveries and noise with the building in mind.
Yes. We check where the ducting can run and make sure the electrics and fixings are suitable before the unit goes up.
They can, and it often saves time because plumbing, tiling and electrics are covered in the same visit.
We can supply and fit them through local suppliers, or fit ones you have already bought.
